The kickoff of the European tour of Kataklysm came in a package of some old school Canadian death metal mixed with the Swedish melodic death metal of Soilwork topped with a sauce of the progressive antics of Wilderun. Quite a lot of variation which satisfied a lot of people. Make sure you catch this tour whenever it comes to a venue near you!

After 7 long years, the Swedish prog masters Soen were back in Belgium with an exciting show at Trix in Antwerp, Belgium. Support came from the French outfit Lizzard and the Finnish heavy metallers Oceanhoarse!

Gojira took over Europe on their massive ‘Fortitude’ tour with support from up-and-comers Alien Weaponry and Employed To Serve and we caught them at their show at a sold out Jäähalli in Helsinki, Finland in front of a crowd that was absolutely hungry for some good live show!

The Mighty Meshuggah showed us that the grey foxes hasn’t lost their tricks. The godfathers of djent are still an exceptional band.

The French band Aephanemer dropped by On The Rocks in Helsinki to turn the heat up and make a pretty much crammed venue go wild to their symphonic/melodic death metal tunes! Support came from locals Numento.

Ne Obliviscaris

Ne Obliviscaris and Persefone on tour in Europe, supported by openers Asymmetric Universe, providing us with an evening of the finest progressive metal out there! We caught them at their stop in Belgium, at Trix in Antwerp!

US power metal legendary band Kamelot came, saw and conquered all of our hearts at Vanha Ylioppilastalo in Helsinki, with the help of Myrath, Eleine and League of Distortion back at the end of March!

Leprous always stand for an exceptional live show and musical experience. Add to that Monuments and Kalandra, and we were in for a fantastic night at Helsinki’s Vanha Ylioppilastalo!

Nem Agency brought Kamelot along with Myrath, Eleine and League of Distortion back to Tampere. The show was not as crowed as maybe expected, but a lot of fun with excellent music of all 4 bands!

Wheel, Epica and Apocalyptica came together in Munich to bring a dream night for lovers of expectedly crafted music from the hand of excellent artists

Dream Theater

Progressive metal masters Dream Theater are touring the world with their “Top of the World” tour showing they are true masters at what they do. We got to see them at 013 Poppodium in Tilburg, Netherlands with the Finnish progressive/symphonic power metallers of Arion opening!

The North-American metalcore stars Atreyu and modern metallers on the rise Jinjer warmed up for Bullet for My Valentine at Zenith in Munich, Germany!

Amorphis came to show why they are one of Finland’s favorites and with them the folk metal legends Eluveitie ripped up the stage at Jäähalli in Helsinki, right after Dark Tranquillity and Nailed To Obscurity warmed up the crowd!
