The year wrapping up means that we’ll be looking back at the amazing things we’ve experienced, and “album of the year” lists. We’d also like to give some attention to our talented concert photographers who go out and cover shows for us. So here is a first in a series of articles where our artists pick their favorite pictures of 2023 with Anna/ScarletMemory Photography who mostly roams around in Tampere, Finland and pictures from bands like Pain, Sólstafir, Eleine, Myrath, Battle Beast, Brymir, Sabaton, Mors Subita, Lordi, Metalite, Shereign, Diablo, Before The Dawn, Wolfheart, Sonata Arctica, Deathstars, Brother Firetribe, Psychework, Apocalyptica, Voidfallen, Poets of the Fall, Amorphis, Lost Society, and Everwave!
Day 2 of Tuhdimmat Tahdit was just as hot. Carnival Academy, Heavy Metal Perse, Antony Parviainen Trio, Turmion Kätilöt, Metalite, Wolfheart, Shereign, Before the Dawn, Brymir, Mokoma, Swallow the Sun and lastly Battle Beast. Master Events gave us a festival that is certainly worth coming back to.
Tuhdimmat Tahdit and Master Events organized Battle Beast’s first ever show in Nokia, Finland. As support, they brought along Crimson Sun. An enjoyable evening for everyone.
Battle Beast turned Tamperes Pakkahuone into a circus when they came to town for their ‘The Circus is coming to Town’ tour. They also brought along One Desire, and together they delivered an evening packed of good music (and people). A production by Master Events.
Battle Beast showed what a great heavy metal show is like at Jäähalli Helsinki a good week ago with the support of their special guests Ensiferum and Kiuas! A production by Master Events.
Day 2 of Sauna Open Air was a blast with a great Line Up, including Battle Beast, Avantasia, Doro and Five Finger Death Punch. The festival was organised by RH Entertainment and Master Events.
The last Friday before the Christmas period, our photographer ScarletMemory Photography got to enjoy one last great concert for this year with Arion, Memoremains and Battle Beast.
John Smith Frozen provided the best possible pre Christmas Party for all us Metalheads. This very welcoming Festival sweetened the time before Christmas on Day one with, among others, Battle Beast, Mustasch and Ensiferum
Swedish heavy metal institute Hammerfall came to bring their epicness to the stage of Trix in Antwerp! Check out the pics of the show here!
