Black Metal, Death Metal, Groove Metal, Hardcore, Heavy Metal, Metalcore, News, Progressive, Rock

GRIMM Gent aims to please. And we intend to do this by providing you an overview of the new music video releases of the past week. Who knows, maybe you missed something really cool… This reboot will be published every time just at the beginning of the new week, it could possibly give you some tunes to enjoy as a “pick me up” during or after work!
Welcome to Grimm’s Videoland 2.0!

[tabby title=”Nuclear Blast”]

Last week Friday 24th, Battle Beast released their new album Bringer of Pain through Nuclear Blast. A few days before they unleashed the video for the heavy metal title track on us!

Vintage rock band Blues Pills released an official music video for one of the more calm songs I Felt A Change from their latest album Lady in Gold. The track makes us think of Adele very much and might have the fans of the more heavy work not really getting into it, though it’s still a quite strong and emotional song.

Dutch metallers The Charm The Fury released a videoclip for Echoes, written as a response to the aftermath of the attacks on Charlie Hebdo in Paris in 2015. The song will be featured on the band’s upcoming album The Sick, Dumb & Happy (out on March 17th).

This week Suicide Silence released their very criticized new self-titled album on which they took a turn musically away from deathcore. The track Dying in a Red Room reminds us even somewhat of some of Deftones‘ work.

[tabby title=”AFM”]

On Friday March 3rd, Canadian hard rock/rock ‘n’ roller in every fiber of his being, Danko Jones, will release his new album Wild Cat through AFM Records. This week we got the official video for the first single of that album: My Little RnR. Be on the lookout for our review on the album soon!

Despite all of his other work with many bands, Mat Sinner still found time to make a new album with his heavy metal band Sinner called Tequila Suicide, to be released on March 31st, of which there is now a video for the title track.

German Neuer Deutsche Härte outfit Stahlmann is set to release album number 5 with Bastard. The song Nichts Spricht Wahre Liebe Frei gives a different, more emotionally dark look on the usually heavy band.

[tabby title=”Sumerian”]

The first single, Heaven Sent, by Down & Dirty since the forced leave of founder Denis Stoff was released via Sumerian Records and the video for the track shows that they’ll go on strong with their new vocalist!

[tabby title=”Roadrunner”]

In 2016 the French masters of groovy progressive metal Gojira released Magma through Roadrunner Records and just so you wouldn’t forget about them, they bring you the video for the track The Cell from that monster of an album. For our review of the album go here.

[tabby title=”Century Media”]

March 3rd will bring a blackened death reckoning brought to you by Svart Crown with the album Abreaction via Century Media Records. As a preview they released the brutal video for the track Orgasmic Spiritual Ecstasy that’ll get you to on a whole different trip.

Vitja will also release their new album Digital Love on March 3rd and here is yet another of the songs from it: Heavy Rain.

March 24th brings the second album by hard rock super group Art of Anarchy, named The Madness through the sublabel Another Century. This release will be the first featuring vocalist Scott Stapp (former Creed vocalist) besides twin brothers Jon and Vince Votta on guitar and drums, current Disturbed bassist John Moyer and former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal as co-guitarist and producer. Enjoy the lyric video of No Surrender and discover the new musical direction they’re taking.

[tabby title=”Napalm”]

From Belgium there’s a new rock revolution coming through Black Mirrors if we can believe Napalm Records! Their EP Funky Queen hits the shelves on March 3rd!

German 8kids released a video for Blitzschlag, from their new album Denen die wir waren out on May 26th.

Last year Jinjer surprised with a very progressive influenced hardcore/metalcore masterpiece under the name King of Everything (read the review here). This week they released a lyric video for the track Captain Clock from that release.

Running high on gasoline, stoner and good old sex, drugs & rock’n’roll, Zombie Motors Wrecking Yard is attacking us with their debut album Supersonic Rock’n Roll on February 24th and brought us another sample of their crazy stoner rock with the video for Dead Smile.

[tabby title=”InsideOutMusic”]

On February 24th The Mute Gods released a progressive rock album called Tardigrades Will Inherit The Earth through Inside Out Music and on the same day they delivered a hilarious video for the title track.

[tabby title=”Metal Blade”]

Dutch death metal onslaught by Antropomorphia with the track Murmur Ov The Dead from their latest album Sermon ov Wrath, via Metal Blade Records!

[tabby title=”Concorde Music Group”]

One of South Africa’s biggest rock export products Seether has released out of nowhere a new song titled Let You Down, which has many fans excited. It seems they’re going back a bit to their older, darker grungy stuff and the video going along with it brings back the creepy stuff from the heydays of the band! Their new album Poison the Parish is set to be released on May 12th.

[tabbyending]

English metalcore band While She Sleeps is releasing the new album You Are We on April 21st and here is the song Silence Speaks, which will excite many older Bring Me The Horizon fans since it features Oli Sykes once more screaming his lungs out!

Last video of this week is an older one, but under the slogan “support your locals” we were gladly to present you the lyric video of Demolished, a track from the EP Heartless by Belgian metalcore outfit Stranger Dimensions! Go check it out!

That’s all folks! See you next week!
