Tuska unleashed the first batch of bands for the 2024 line-up and it seems they put their chips strongly on modern metal/metalcore with Bring Me The Horizon, Bloodred Hourglass, Bury Tomorrow, Make Them Suffer, Infected Rain and Fixation, proggy music with Opeth, Vola, Voyager and Riverside, and power metal with Alestorm, Angus McSix and Brothers Of Metal. And of course, festival regulars Amorphis and Stam1na belong to the party as well!
What do you think of the line-up already? Who do you hope to be added still?

Last week, after a fantastic 2023, Bury Tomorrow started the new year with a victory lap in their own country with a small UK tour with the support of metalcore/modern metal greats We Came As Romans and Kingdom of Giants! We caught up with them at the Boiler Shop in Newcastle for what was an amazing show!
On the first day of Alcatraz 2023, we caught Eleine, Wind Rose, Rise of the Northstar, Bury Tomorrow, Powerwolf and Michael Schenker Group taking over the Prison Stage (mainstage)!

Annet’s favorite albums of the year 2023 involve a mix of punk rock and modern metal, bringing in loads of emotions going from deep and intense, to fun and light with albums from Green Day, Enter Shikari, Hexa Mera, Chris Maragoth, Powerwolf, Nanowar of Steel, Angus McSix, Blink-182, Gloryhammer and Bury Tomorrow!
It wasn’t all bad in 2020. Although it seemed like that sometimes. An example are these awesome albums that were released this year. The bands couldn’t tour, but I’m sure they will the first moment they can. Enjoy!

Bury Tomorrow’s ‘Seventh Sun’ truly is like therapy on a disc. Out via Music For Nations and the band is playing the Prison stage at Alcatraz today!
Gig Reports
Bury Tomorrow blew the roof off the Ancienne Belgique with a 5 out of 5 performance! Opening act Novelist got the energy to 100 right from the start and August Burns Red gave love to all of their songs, both the older ones and the new ones.
