The year wrapping up means that we’ll be looking back at the amazing things we’ve experienced, and “album of the year” lists. We’d also like to give some attention to our talented concert photographers who go out and cover shows for us. The second night of John Smith Rock Frozen 2023 was pretty epic with some of the best of the Finnish scene with Red Eleven, Kiuas, Finntroll, Turmion Kätilöt and headliners Amorphis! Throw on top of that the Swedish up-and-comers of Orbit Culture, and you know it was good!
Swedish industrial metal legends Pain are on tour throughout Europe right now, and we caught them at their stop at the Backstage venue in Munich, Germany. Bringing with them Finnish pagan metal giants Ensiferum, Swedish dark symphonic metallers Eleine and Japanese Ryujin, it was quite the night for heavy metal!

Metfest 2023 at the Tollwood area in Munich, Germany… a celebration with superheroes, warriors, good music and of course mead, with Feuerschwanz, Fiddler’s Green, Warkings and Grailknights!
Day 2 of Tuhdimmat Tahdit was just as hot. Carnival Academy, Heavy Metal Perse, Antony Parviainen Trio, Turmion Kätilöt, Metalite, Wolfheart, Shereign, Before the Dawn, Brymir, Mokoma, Swallow the Sun and lastly Battle Beast. Master Events gave us a festival that is certainly worth coming back to.
