Without question, the biggest deathcore band in the world, Lorna Shore made their stop at Jäähalli, the biggest venue in Helsinki, bringing their biggest stage production yet to a sold out crowd on their “The Pain Remains EU Tour”, and with them they had Rivers of Nihil, Ingested and Distant, resulting in massive pits from start to finish!
Nem Agency’s Melancholy Mass Festival made Finland’s dark winter nights just a bit better by bringing us Septicflesh, …And Oceans, Vorna, Assemble The Chariots and Voidfallen on the stage in Tampere and Helsinki.
The Polish black metal institution Batushka brought their unholy sermon to the halls of Helsinki’s Vanha Ylioppilastalo and brought with them the Russian pagans of Arkona, the pretty epic Canadian Aeternam and Latvian vikings of Varang Nord!
On Thursday November 16, Mors Subita made it to Klubi, Tampere for one of their ‘Origin of Fire’ release shows, in good company of Marianas Rest. Nem Agency presented a nice evening of Finnish metal.

On Saturday August 25th Carnation walked straight out of their Chapel of Abhorrence to the stage where they played all tracks of their new album for the very first time. It was clear Belgium had been waiting for this.

Retromorphosis is a newly spawned technical death metal entity featuring ex-members of Spawn of Possession, Obscura and Decrepit Birth. Their debut album “Psalmus Mortis” is highly recommended for fans of Fleshgod Apocalypse, Gorguts and Nocturnus AD, out since yesterday via Season of Mist!
Copenhagen-based death metal quartet Phrenelith has returned to conquer again with third studio album “Ashen Womb”, out via Dark Descent Records and Me Saco Un Ojo since February 7th, essential for fans of Incantation, Convulse, and Spectral Voice.
Debut album “The Diseased Machine” from London’s death metal quintet Mutagenic Host packs heavy aggression of old-school death metal with spacey themes. Out via Dry Cough Records since January 3rd.
