Hiraes

Hiraes stormed DVG Club in Kortrijk, Belgium with their “Nightflight tour 2026” with the support of Nopreachers! After the show they took the time to meet and greet all of the fans with a photo/signing session, including vocalist Britta Görtz signing the latest portrait painted on the walls by local artist Brecht Carton!

Sylosis is currently touring Europe with Revocation, Distant and Life Cycles on “The New Flesh tour”, building anticipation for their upcoming album of the same name! We caught their show at a packed Tavastia in Helsinki and saw it was good!

Jinjer

On the third stop of their “Duél tour”, Jinjer impressed a sold-out Brussels crowd with their set blending latest material and fan favorites! And with the support of exceptional bands Unprocessed and Textures, it was quite the night to behold!

The Epica and Amaranthe co-headlining tour: “Arcane Dimensions” featuring special guest Charlotte Wessels dropped by at Vorst Nationaal in Belgium and we were there!

Back in September at Kuudes Linja in Helsinki, from dark alt-rock intensity to high-energy metalcore, Luna Kills and Balance Breach showed why they’re among Finland’s most promising rising acts.

Electric Callboy turned Jäähalli into a full-on party during their “Tanzneid Europe Tour”. With explosive support sets from Bury Tomorrow and Wargasm (UK), Helsinki was all in from start to finish.

Tuska 2025 day two hit hard on the main stage. Slaughter To Prevail, Orbit Culture, and headliners Powerwolf shaped a powerful Saturday at the festival.

We caught the Avatar “In the Airwaves tour” at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels with the support from Alien Weaponry and Witch Club Satan. Sometimes these shows are just a work of art, and a nice reminder that rock and metal shows are for everyone and every age.

Luna Kills has been showing off their new album ‘Deathmatch’ to Europe, and we caught them at their stop in Belgium, at Club Hell in Diest, with the support of Dutch alt-metal upstarts Pacemaker!

Eluveitie proved to us to be in top form when they dropped by in Helsinki at the end of January on their “ÀNV Rising- Europe pt I” tour with the support of the always energetic Infected Rain and first time visitors Ad Infinitum! An event by TuskaLive.

With 3 bands being shining lights for (the future of) metal, and all 3 of them having a brand-new album in their pocket, Amaranthe, Dragonforce and Infected Rain turned Black Box Helsinki into a true celebration of heavy music about a month ago!

“The Great Metal Circus 2024” landed in Helsinki, where Avatar turned being at Tavastia that night into something absolutely spectacular and memorable! And the support Æther Realm came all the way from the US to Finland for the very first time, doing a great job at warming up the crowd!

Modern metal outfit CyHra came to present their latest album ‘The Vertigo Trigger’ to their Finnish fans starting with a show at Yo-Talo in Tampere, with support band Neonfly, turning the night into a celebration of good music and community!

A night in New Hampshire, the Shinedown “Revolutions Live Tour” struck down at BankNH Pavilion, and brought with them Papa Roach and Spiritbox for an amazing evening of modern metal/rock!

Legendary Belgian metal band Channel Zero finally got to celebrate their 30th anniversary (a few years late due to the pandemic) at Cactus Club in Brugge, a small venue that was a perfect setting for an intense, energetic and somewhat intimate show. Support came from modern metal/nu metal stars on the rise Mantah!

Ice Nine Kills finally made it to Finland for 2 sold out shows, and we were at the Helsinki show in Vanha Ylioppilastalo back in May with support from special guests SKYND and openers Lansdowne! They quite literally killed it!

Sabatons ‘Tour To End All Tours’ came finally to an end, but not before also bringing the fire to Finland. With the Support of Lordi and BABYMETAL, they gave us an incredible show at the sold out Jäähalli in Helsinki last week. Thanks to TuskaLive and Grey Beard for bringing them here!

Lamb of God unleashed their monumental 10th album ‘Into Oblivion’ with Century Media Records and Epic Records yesterday and it’s everything you’ve come to expect of a good LoG album! Catch them live in Europe this summer at plenty of festivals including Alcatraz Festival!

Paleface Swiss started the new year properly with the release of their EP ‘The Wilted’. More emotional, more brutal, showing different sides of a band that is going places right now! Catch them live on tour in Europe with Stick To Your Guns and Static Dress right now or this summer when they visit many European festivals, including some of our favorites like Tuska and Alcatraz!

Bloodred Hourglass’ latest release ‘We Should Be Buried Like This’ combines versatile, catchy soundscapes with heavy riffs and harsh vocals. A success from start to finish, out via Out Of Line Music.

Australian modern metal band Ghostseeker unleashed their debut full-length album ‘Divergence’ into the world at the end of April via ROAR. A band that dares to do something different and experiment and discover their own style, and with this album they’re ready to take over the world!

‘The Catalyst’ contains powerful songs that are loud and clear. But then again, the album also has a power ballad. It shows once again the different styles that Amaranthe has to offer. Out since last month via Nuclear Blast!

Tampere’s Everwave are giving us an early Christmas present, with their slow roasted second album ‘Another Lifetime’ which dropped on December 1st. They spiced up their existing sound with some new elements and took their music another step forward.

Chris Maragoth just released his first album, ‘Gatherer of Souls’. Some of the songs have already been released before, and have been remastered for this album. Some songs are brand new. This album contains mostly instrumental melodic death metal/modern metal tracks, worked on by Chris alone or together with other artists, bringing a lovely collection of melodeath-inspired modern metal tracks!

A Life Divided’s new album, ‘Down The Spiral Of A Soul’, feels a little too instantly familiar, but it provides a very easy, fun listening experience. The album was released via AFM Records earlier this summer!

Curse Of Cain released their self-titled grand debut album via Atomic Fire Records back on May 12th. This album adds a fresh flavour to the Modern Metal scene.

Parkway Drive’s latest ‘Darker Still’ is a darker album than usual, but the quality is outstanding. So much energy is coming from this, you can feel that this was an outlet for the band to share some of their dark thoughts. A masterpiece from a continuously evolving band, out via Epitaph Records.
