Getting a show packed on a Wednesday isn’t something everyone can do, but for a supergroup like The Halo Effect no problem. Together with Bloodred Hourglass they brought one heck of a hot show to Tampere’s Tavara-Asema a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to Fullsteam Agency for welcoming us to the event!

Ginger Vine Management & PR gave us access to Apocalyptica’s “Plays Metallica vol. 2” show at Tampere-Talo on the 23rd of January. A show that was not only great to listen to, but also was visually great, with light arrangements that just helped the music to shine even brighter.
Hellsinki Metal Festival is becoming a permanent fixture in the Finnish summer festival landscape, and after 2 successful editions, the organisation decided they didn’t want to wait for another year. In comes a smaller winter edition of the main event about halfway December 2024, bringing amazing extreme metal bands together like Omnivortex, Batushka, Belphegor and headliners Dark Funeral!
They’re celebrating a quarter of a century long career this year, but last November we still caught Comeback Kid in Helsinki while on tour through Scandinavia and Europe! A real bombshell of a hardcore music night with amazing support bands Spaced and Prowl warming up the crowd!

Finland’s band of misfits King Satan released their latest album ‘The Devil’s Evangelion’ via Noble Demon, and such an epic album deserves a proper release tour of course. With them, they brought their friends of the dark elektro duo Miseria Ultima to open the night, and doomy outfit The Abbey as direct support at the Helsinki stop. An excellent night of great music and friends, and with all bands in absolute top form!
Country music isn’t just for warm summer days as Steve ‘n’ Seagulls skilfully demonstrated when they played their last gig of 2024 at Tampere’s Klubi on Friday the 20th of December.
On the back of the release of their latest album ‘Friend of a Phantom’, VOLA embarked on an extensive European tour and dropped by Vanha Ylioppilastalo in Helsinki, Finland in November to repeat the amazing performance they had at Tuska this past summer! Master Events gave us yet another great evening when they booked Raskasta Joulua to perform an acoustic set at Tampere’s Kaleva Church on the 26th of November. The show with Antti Railio, Marko Hietala and Ilja Jalkanen was a full success, although very different from the usual Raskasta Joulua shows.
